There may be a November 2006 special ballot by the Skagit County Commissioners to adopt a fluoridation ordinance that would allow and require the Skagit Public Utility District #1 to adjust the natural level of fluoride in its water supply so that a greater number of Skagit County residents can receive the proven benefits of fluoride, and thereby oral disease may be reduced.
